UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) or Global Goals are a collection of 17 interlinked goals designed to be a "blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all". The SDGs were set in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly and are intended to be achieved by the year 2030.

Recruitment
The Recruitment Department assists in finding and recruiting candidates for open any position a client has, and to ensure these candidates are duly qualified/certified. This applies to both - sea and land-based positions.

Hazardous Material Experts
Inventory of Hazardous Materials (IHM).
Shipping.fo surveys your vessel according to the IHM Code, providing Asbestos and Inventory Hazardous Material Reports onboard all types of vessels to comply with the various International Regulations and Guidance determined by which state the work is being undertaken.
Our Surveyors and HazMat Experts have been fully trained and certified by RINA for the preparing of IHM reports.
Technical Management

FAQ
Are we properly certified?
When operating vessels internationally these need to be certified according to ISM/ISPS/MLC: Likewise it may be a business advantage to have your company certified according to ISO 9001/14001/45000.
Faroese Maritime Authority
FAS/FMA (The Faroese Flag) requires a domestic agent to liaise between the Flag and foreign owners. We are well connected with the Faroese Maritime Administration and can assist in all matters.
